Is Simplify legit? What its own terms say (2026)

Simplify is run by Simplify Jobs Inc., a San Francisco company, and it publishes prices, a refund policy and plain help articles. Its free Copilot extension fills in application forms and leaves submitting to you. Its paid Autopilot, on Simplify+ ($39.99 a month), submits up to 20 applications a week with no review step. Payments are final except an unintended renewal reported within 24 hours.

Who runs Simplify?

Legal entity

Simplify Jobs Inc., doing business as Simplify.[15][16]

Address

2261 Market Street #4189, San Francisco, CA 94114.[15]

Law and disputes

California law. Individual binding arbitration under AAA rules in San Francisco County after 60 days of informal negotiation, with a class action waiver and a one-year limit.[15]

How much does Simplify cost, and can you get a refund?

Plans

Copilot autofill, Resume Builder, Job Tracker and Gmail integration are free. Simplify+ costs $19.99 a week, $39.99 a month, or $89.99 every three months, and includes 20 Autopilot credits a week. One credit is used per submitted application; failed runs use none.[18]

Refund

Payments are non-refundable once access begins. An unintended renewal on a web purchase can get a pro-rated refund if you contact support within 24 hours. Dissatisfaction with AI output, or not getting interviews, does not qualify. App Store purchases are refunded by Apple.[17]

Renewal

Simplify+ renews at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel in account settings and keep access until the period ends.[15]

What does Simplify ask you to hand over?

Browser extension

The extension reads job postings you view and the application forms you fill, including the values it fills for you, and stores a local copy of your profile and resume.[16]

Sign-in

Social sign-in through Google, LinkedIn or Apple shares profile details such as name and email. The privacy policy does not mention job-site passwords.[16]

Email

If you connect Gmail, it stores message metadata and short previews, not full emails or attachments. Autopilot uses an email proxy for verification codes.[16][19]

Sharing

Does not sell personal information for money. Shares cookie and hashed identifiers with ad platforms such as Google and Meta, which some US laws treat as a sale; you can opt out. It says it never shares your resume or application answers with ad platforms.[16]

Does Simplify submit applications without you?

Free Copilot

Fills supported application fields. You review the form and submit it yourself.[18]

Autopilot

Fills out and submits supported postings for you, with an optional tailored resume and a cover letter where the form needs one. The help center is direct about review.[19]

fills out and submits it without a review step
When it cannot answer

The run fails rather than submitting, and you finish the form with Copilot. Failed runs do not use a credit.[19]

What else do Simplify's terms say?

Liability cap

The greater of what you paid in the prior 12 months or $50.[15]

Other sites

Simplify does not review third-party sites. You use them at your own risk and should read their terms.[15]

Results

The service is provided as is. No warranty on the accuracy of AI-generated content.[15]

Where can you read complaints about Simplify?

We do not quote star ratings, because a score changes daily and we cannot check how reviews were gathered. Read the complaints yourself and look for repeats: refunds refused, renewals after cancelling, accounts restricted on a job site.

  • Simplify on Trustpilot, the review page we confirmed exists on November 8, 2026.
  • Search the Better Business Bureau for Simplify. We link the search, not a profile, because we did not confirm which BBB listing belongs to which company.
  • Your bank or card issuer. If a charge is wrong and the company will not fix it, a dispute through your card issuer is the standard route.
